September 10, 2025 – Japan’s Cultural Treasures Highlighted the Vibrant Heritage of a Beautiful Country
Thank you to Matt and Holly Green who took us with them on their incredible trip to Japan. This was the third amazing travel program Matt and Holly have prepared and shared with us, through the Program Club.
Matt’s presentation was the perfect combination of photos, videos, history, and fun facts as we toured Japan’s cities and small towns. We experienced the rich cultural customs of exciting ceremonies and dances and the everyday way of life with one-on-one adventures with the people of Japan. We felt totally immersed in the colors, sounds, and sights of this magnificent country.
After the program we sampled Japanese snacks and candy. We added our always popular Classic Cake to the refreshments as we talked and asked questions.
Thanks to the Program Club members who helped plan and set up this event. Thank you to Fran Foley and his team for moving the furniture and to the guys and gals who stayed after the program to move everything back.
What a wonderful community of friends and neighbors we have, willing to share their time and talent to make The Villas at Five Ponds a great place to live.

$cam Jam – May 8, 2025
Thanks for Attending the $cam Jam
The PA Dept of Banking and Securities presented a fun and engaging program.
Katrina Boyer led the $cam Jam, educating us on the latest scams and fraud targeting seniors. Marc Furber from the District Attorney’s office reported on elder abuse and exploitation in Bucks County. Joel Elias from AARP led several rounds of “Fraud Bingo” with plenty of prizes. Detective Byrne from the Warminster Police Dept discussed the current top scams being investigated in Warminster. Nora Haynos from the Attorney General’s office reviewed the most valuable takeaways to help us avoid scams and fraud in the future.
Thank you to the Social Committee for treating us to snacks for this free event. Special thanks to Karen Kreiger for discovering this valuable program and to the Program Club for hosting all of us.
Thanks to our set-up and break-down guys and gals who always do the hard work of moving the furniture for our programs.

George and Martha, March 29, 2025
Thank You from the Program Club!
Thank you to all who attended “Meet George & Martha Washington.”
Curt Radabaugh and Alisa Dupuy were General George and Lady Martha Washington, when they first met, a vibrant couple, very much in love and dedicated to the American cause. They shared their youth and what life was like for them before, during, and after the revolution. We learned so many interesting facts and details. They answered our questions and enjoyed refreshments with us after the program.
Thank you to Fran Foley and his team of guys who set up and break down the multipurpose room for us. Your hard work is always appreciated!
Thanks to our amazing Program Club members, Diane Polsky, Barbara Feldman, Wendy Cohen, Casey Bauer, Gail Saifer, Lorraine Incollingo, Ellen Weiss, Linda Alten, Janet Lynch, Susan Larrieu, Mary Lou Nodiff, Karen Krieger, Carole Denish, Sheryl Surkin, Sharyn Polsky, Cheryle Goldberg, Wendy Demp, who help us plan, shop, set up, decorate, and clean up from each program.
